The Game Club offers the kids an opportunity to come and play board games, role playing games, and other activities that they might not otherwise have a venue to play at. The club ensures the kids can have fun in a controlled environment and at no real expense outside of materials needed to play the game they want to play..
Students will meet 3:30-4:30 PM on Thursdays

Orange Crush
Orange Crush is a spirit club for MMS’s sports teams.
The Orange Crush members get to attend designated home games for free and sit as a group to cheer on our athletes at school sponsored events. The club promotes school spirit, good sportsmanship, pride in our school, and a fun school atmosphere.
Orange Crush also promotes the teams by funding service projects through fundraisers. In the past the club has purchased new frames for pictures of undefeated teams in the middle school main hallway, purchased a middle school mascot (Middle Mac), and is currently working on spirit banners in the multipurpose gym.
We also host fun activities for members throughout the school year.
There is a $20 fee to join. Other requirements for membership include maintaining good grades and promoting good citizenship.

Events are held either at our Macon School or neighboring schools Thursdays at 5:30 during January and February . If you're ready to show off your random facts and knowledge, this is the team for you!

Weight Lifting
MMS Weightlifting for incoming 7th and 8th grade football players,
Football interested meeting 5/13/24 handed a calendar out to students stating summer football workouts will begin on Tuesday 5/28. From then on it is Monday - Thursday ending on 6/20.
Please have cleats and tennis shoes available. Shorts and a t-shirt will be best as it will likely be hot. Players, a great idea is to take a Sharpie and write your name big on the back of an old white T shirt. We will start at 8am on the dot, and will end right at, or slightly before 10am so parents don’t have to wait. The goal for these workouts are to get/stay in shape, increase strength and speed, identify strengths in each player, and see who is competitive. We will be in the weight room a little each day so that is the reason for tennis shoes. Due to safety of the athletes, no one will lift in socks. We will meet each morning at the track. Bring a water bottle too! I hope you’re as excited as I am.
Pro Tip: I am kind of old school, so on time means a “little” early.
